Thanks for showing an interest in volunteering with RCASA!

RCASA depends on our dedicated volunteers to help us provide direct services to survivors of sexual violence in our community. In many cases our hotline responders are a survivor's first contact with RCASA. It may also be the first time a survivor has ever spoken of their assault. This is why it is important that we have committed volunteers to work with us. We hope the information below will help you get to know the role of the RCASA volunteer a little better.

You will have the unique opportunity to impact the lives of those in need and increase awareness within our community. Our volunteers help staff our free 24/7 crisis hotline, speak publicly throughout the community, provide administrative support, assist with special events, and serve on our Board of Directors. We are looking for people with a wide range of abilities, including computer skills, graphic design, and special event coordination. We place tremendous value on the contributions of our volunteers and will work closely with you in developing the best opportunity to suit your interests, skills, and schedule.

There is a vital role for you here at RCASA. If you have questions, to learn more, or to volunteer, please email volunteer@rcasa.org or call (540) 371-6771. You can also fill out an application below.

Thank you for your interest,

Na'la - Volunteer Coordinator
